Bairén Castle

Bairen Castle, of Islamic origin is a fortress with more than 1000 years of history located very close to Gandia. Within its walls we will talk about the Taifa kingdoms, the Christian conquest and the history of the monument with unbeatable views.

Benimaquia (Dénia)

Guided tours of the Alt de Benimaquia. A walk through the Montgó Natural Park, in Dénia, will lead us to the archaeological remains where the oldest wine production in the Iberian Peninsula has been documented.

Catxupa (Dénia)

We will go to a shelter of Levantine rock art, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1998. Walking through a magnificent landscape, we will visit a site with paintings that will transport us 8000 years in time, when the inhabitants of our territory went from being hunter-gatherers to farmers and ranchers.

Anti-aircraft shelters (Gandia)

The anti-aircraft shelters of the Peixateria and the Prado will help us better understand our recent history. Built in 1938 by the same population of Gandia to protect themselves from bombing during the civil war.

La Gandia de Maria Enríquez.

María Enríquez was the regent duchess of Gandia after the death of the second
duke Juan de Borja. Under his tenure, Gandia reached its maximum economic

and cultural splendor. We will walk through the historic center visiting places like
the Museum of Santa Clara or the Convent of Clarisas.
